We are happy to know that the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines has invited the Pilgrim Relics of St. Therese of the Child Jesus to visit the country for the fifth time to begin on her 150th birthday on January 2, 2023 and end in time for the centennial of her beatification on April 29, 2023.
In my capacity as President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), I favorably endorse for the ordinariate to proceed to work on the realization of the Pilgrim Relics of Saint Therese’s visit to the Philippines.
It is our great hope and prayer that through this visit, the fifth in the country, we continue to learn more profoundly her life and message of God’s gift of merciful love through her Little Way of Spiritual Childhood. By her example and intercession, Saint Therse continues to enrich the lives of the Filipino people.
